The design is printed in high-resolution full colour on a 300 gsm polyester canvas with a deep, matt finish — no glass, no glare — then hand-stretched over a wooden frame and firmly stapled at the back. The image continues over the edges: the canvas looks great from the side too.

The key to a stretched canvas is the wrapped edges: the canvas dresses the side of the frame, so your file must extend roughly 2 cm beyond the finished size on every side (plus a margin folded to the back). Avoid placing a face, text or any essential element near the edges — it would end up on the side. Pro tip: extend the background of the image, or choose plain or mirrored edges for a flawless result.
Prepare your file at 1:1 scale in CMYK, 150 dpi minimum for decor sizes, fonts outlined. Our printing guide covers preparation in detail, and the file check is free with every order. For hanging, a simple nail or hook is enough: the canvas is light, and the supplied tensioning wedges let you re-tighten it over time.
